Introduction

實驗室簡介

雷射動態實驗室成立於2004年,現址位於國立清華大學資電館108室。本實驗室研究內容除包含光電、物理、基礎科學等具有學術研究價值之研究外,亦積極延伸並拓展至相關之創新應用上。

本實驗室利用實驗及數值模擬並行之方式,研究半導體雷射的非線性動態及其物理特性,並深入探討半導體雷射遭受光注射 (optical injection)、光回饋 (optical feedback)、及光電回饋 (optoelectronic feedback) 時之行為和現象,並將其所產生之各種模態(states)應用於雷達及雷射雷達(光達)、超寬頻微波光電、保密光通訊,以及生醫光電等領域上。

實驗室願景

本實驗室希望能在下列目標間達到動態平衡:

一、成為國內外半導體雷射動態學術領域重要之領導者

二、發展突破性之創新技術應用造福人類社會

三、培養全方位之科技人才




Lab Introduction

The laser dynamics lab was established in 2004. We specialized in nonlinear dynamics of semiconductor lasers and their novel applications. Both simulations and experiments are being developed and studied. Our research interests include diverse waveform generation using laser dynamics, laser-based ultra-wideband (UWB) radar, UWB microwave imaging and communications, chaotic lidar, target identifications, and penetration detections. Beyond the academic merits, these technologies are highly related and demanded by the industries.
